Master’s degree in Peace and Conflict Management Studies
This is an international program conducted in English, intended for students from abroad and from Israel. The duration of the program is one full academic year.
The program presents a multidisciplinary approach to the study of peace and conflict. It addresses inter-group conflicts at various levels, from the levels of local community to the international, and explores a variety of ways to deal with conflict and the promotion of peace in various regions of the world, with an emphasis on Israel and the Middle East.
The program for Peace and Conflict Management Studies is comprised of courses in various fields such as political science, international relations, psychology, sociology, and history.
In addition, the program includes a practicum in organizations dealing with conflict management and peace building, study tours, simulations, and guest lectures.
Students can study in the program towards a Master of Arts in a thesis track or in a non-thesis track.
