The Department of Hebrew and Comparative Literature offers studies in both Hebrew and world literature. The comparative framework introduces the student to different cultural trends, theories and genres in the history of literature, and emphasizes the affinities between literary phenomena in a variety of cultural contexts.
In addition to acquiring knowledge of literary works, students will develop interpretative, analytical and critical skills and enhance their writing competence.
