sizes=\"(max-width: 225px) 100vw, 225px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en\">Digital Humanities is a new field that deals with the integration of information technologies and the fields of humanities and cultural heritage. Digital Humanities deals with the preservation, documentation, accessibility, and computerized research of spiritual and cultural treasures, from ancient times to the present day, in all media and in all fields, from archaeology to digital art, from ancient texts to social networks. Studies in the program combine in-depth learning in some field in the humanities with studies in the Department of Information Systems, and unique courses that deal with the combination of the two. The Digital Humanities Program at the University of Haifa is unique. he first of its kind in Israel, it is funded by Yad Hanadiv. Outstanding students in the program will receive a trip abroad to a related summer program and assistance in financing their final project.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-tab-title elementor-tab-mobile-title\" aria-selected=\"false\" data-tab=\"2\" role=\"tab\" tabindex=\"-1\" aria-controls=\"elementor-tab-content-4542\" aria-expanded=\"false\">Admission Requirements<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<div id=\"elementor-tab-content-4542\" class=\"elementor-tab-content elementor-clearfix\" data-tab=\"2\" role=\"tabpanel\" aria-labelledby=\"elementor-tab-title-4542\" tabindex=\"0\" hidden=\"hidden\"><p><u>General Admission Requirements:<\/u><\/p><p><strong>1<\/strong>. Complete Matriculation Certificate\/ high school diploma or an equivalent recognized by the Israeli Ministry of Education or by the Registration Department.<br \/><strong>2<\/strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.nite.org.il\/\">. Psychometric Entrance Examination<\/a>\u00a0\/ SAT or ACT.<br \/><strong>3<\/strong>.\u00a0<strong>Knowledge of English<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 The level of English is determined within the framework of the Psychometric Entrance Examination, the English Level Placement Tests \u00a0(AMIR \/AMIRAM) or the SAT, TOFEL, IELTS exams. The minimum level of English required for admission to the university is Pre- Basic. Please note that certain departments require a higher level of English.<br \/><strong>4<\/strong>.\u00a0<strong>Knowledge of Hebrew<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 Applicants who took the Psychometric Entrance Examination in a language other than Hebrew and graduated from high schools where the language of instruction was not Hebrew, must prove satisfactory knowledge of Hebrew before the beginning of the academic year by passing a Hebrew Proficiency Test (YAEL\/ YAELNET\/ Hebrew classification test of the University of Haifa* ). The score required for admission to the University of Haifa is a score of at least 120 on the YAEL\/ YAELNET\/ Hebrew classification tests.<br \/>Applicants whose scores on the YAEL\/ YAELNET\/Hebrew classification tests range from 90-119 and their Psychometric score was at least 500 will be conditionally admitted and will have to pass the Hebrew Proficiency Test at the required score by the end of the first year of their studies. These students also have the option of studying a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/mechina.haifa.ac.il\/%d7%a7%d7%95%d7%a8%d7%a1%d7%99-%d7%90%d7%95%d7%a8%d7%99%d7%99%d7%a0%d7%95%d7%aa-%d7%a2%d7%91%d7%a8%d7%99%d7%aa\/\">Hebrew literacy course<\/a>\u00a0within the framework of the University of Haifa preparatory program (Mechina) .
