She earned her MD from the College of Physicians & Surgeons of Columbia University, then trained at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.\n\nShe built and ran a private clinical practice, taking pride in educating her patients about their bodies, developing babies, medical concerns, and options for care. She was on-staff at the UCLA Geffen Medical Center, Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, St. John\u2019s Medical Center, and Century City Hospital in Los Angeles.\nIn addition to patient care and medical education, Michal has developed protocols for and run clinical drug trials, and she serves as an advisor to Walden Ventures on biotechnology investments.\n\nMichal was recently appointed Chair of the University of Haifa\u2019s Board of Governors, becoming the first woman to hold this prominent role.
